In other words, those living among us who openly support ISSIS and Terrorists Groups like them – e.g. Al Qaeda.
Indeed, this has become of great concern in the Capitals of the Free World given that these Islamic Extremists have declared war against us the West.
in this war footing, groups such as ISIS are actively recruiting domestic Muslims and Muslim Converts to attack and kill innocents in our home countries in the name of Allah. Moreover, our intelligence agencies tell us that in most cases these instruments of possible destruction are known to them in advance but the law currently requires overt action before arrests can be made.
The US President seems to be quite okay with this current state of affairs and indeed still refuses to acknowledge that Extremists Muslims are to blame. He also is quite adept at letting known killers loose from Gitmo to butcher again with reckless abandon.
This coming Friday our own Prime Minister – Stephen Harper, will introduce a Bill before our Parliament to deal specially with the 5th column issue. I suspect it will be helpful but will not go far enough. (Hopefully I am wrong and if so will deal with that next week in a follow-up Blog).
But here is what I hope he does:
Make it illegal for domestic residents to voice support for the activities of Islamic Terrorists – the police say they have their names and addresses – so pick them up and lock them away until the war is successfully concluded.
If it takes 30 years – so be it – we are at War !!
Anyone who supports these Terrorists and their inhuman acts – burying babies alive – shooting teenagers for watching soccer – killing women for being raped – pushing homosexuals off roofs etc –etc. deserves no sympathy and the risk cannot be taken to provide them time to show their support in concrete fashion (e.g. killing a guard on duty at the grave of the unknown soldier).
You might find this approach somewhat strange coming from someone like me - a Libertarian, who believes that the Right to Freedom of Speech is paramount.
But there are limits to speaking freely – you can’t yell fire in a crowded cinema and you cannot say what good guys these Islamic Butchers are.
It is as simple as that.
